There have been some excellent diaries using undeniable facts to refudiate (sorry I love that word) the GOP's fantasy claim of substantial Jewish political support. This diary isn't really a sophisticated factual rebuttal of that argument, but a statement pointing out some simple truths.
Obama is a semi-closeted Jew. Every MOT knows it deep inside. Even the Bibi lovers. I am not sure if Hank, Jr. could tell the difference, but we surely can. I might need a fact checker on this wild claim, but no Muslim would ever find himself conducting a Seder...ever. Not to knock my Muslim cousins, but it just ain't happening.
Can anyone imagine Romney, in their wildest dreams, getting down with a shank bone? Maybe posthumously converting holocaust victims, but way too goyishe kup to ever have had any familiarity with the Maxwell House Haggadah.
Why does anyone even care about the Jewish vote? Have any of the GOP Jew Counters been to South Florida in the past several decades? Not quite the juicy demographic it was back when I was still learning to ice skate at the Fontainebleau and the Dolphins were winning Superbowls. The GOP is devoting a lot of attention and some resources trying to peel votes away from a tiny portion of the Obama's rock solid base that isn't even large enough to have any impact.
Obama's fondness for Passover is just one prime example of his undeniable Jewishness. This diary is already too long and difficult for a further dissertation but if you have some examples of your own proving his status as a fellow Red Sea Pedestrian, please share them with us.
